Sarah MacElroy begins her fifth season as the director of basketball operations on the Boston University women's basketball staff.

MacElroy's primary duties include handling the program's daily basketball operations, organizing team travel, and assisting with the team's summer camp programs.

MacElroy earned a bachelor's degree in liberal studies from West Chester University in August of 2003. During her undergraduate career, MacElroy was a four-year letterwinner on the Golden Rams' women's softball team. In addition to her academic and athletic responsibilites, MacElroy also served as the Director of Basketball Operations for both the men's and women's basketball teams.

Following her graduation, MacElroy accepted a position in human resources at the First National Bank of Chester County while continuing to work with both basketball teams at West Chester.
