Study Abroad

Visit Boston University's Study Abroad Website

As an international university whose principles specifically refer to higher education’s role “in the service of the wider community – local and international… and its dynamic engagement with the City of Boston and the world,” the Boston University Department of Athletics supports student-athletes who would like to study abroad as part of their educational experience.  While student-athletes balance demanding academic and athletic schedules, there are still opportunities for student-athletes to study abroad. If a semester-long program isn’t feasible based on your sport participation, a summer abroad program may be a viable option.
