Former Boston University women's basketball standout Christine Kinneary ('09) enters her second season on the coaching staff as its director of basketball operations in 2010-11. Kinneary recently wrapped up a successful four-year career as a Terrier in 2009 and is a member of the all-time winningest class in program history. She holds career records in assists, games played and minutes at BU.

Some of her main duties include handling the program's daily operations, coordinating its travel itineraries and the team's tape exchange.

Kinneary, the Terriers' floor marshal, had a banner year at the point in 2008-09, breaking the program's all-time assist record (554) and moved into the America East Conference's top three all-time. She also owns BU records for minutes (3,902) and games played (125). At season's end she was rewarded with the America East's Fan's Choice Player of the Year accolade, garnering nearly half of the votes, as well as All-Conference First Team honors.

In 2008-09, Kinneary captained the Terriers to reach new heights as they broke a team record for wins in a season (25) and boasted an impressive 19-game winning streak, while also running the America East regular season table at 16-0. BU was one of just four teams in the nation that went unbeaten in its respective conference last year. She is a member of the all-time winningest class in program history with 78 career wins and a .624 winning percentage.

Kinneary is currently pursuing a master's degree in the School of Education.
