  • After a Banwareesingh jumper on the next possession, BU went on an extended 14-4 run. Seven of those points came from Weimar, while the Terriers did not surrender a field goal on defense until the clock read 45 seconds in the third.
  • Johnson ignited the fourth quarter with consecutive buckets, including a midrange jumper from the right elbow, to give BU its biggest advantage of the game, 50-30, one minute into the period.
  • Beneventine and Davenport each hit threes near the midpoint of the fourth, but the River Hawks got to within 13 points on Finley's layup at the 2:37 mark.
  • BU ended the game on a 7-0 spurt. Johnson's falling layup found its way in for an and-one play, then Pina coaxed a steal with 11 seconds left for an uncontested layup.
