BOSTON – Returning to Patriot League play, the Boston University men's soccer team will visit Lehigh on Saturday with a 6 p.m. start time.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is riding a seven-game unbeaten streak (6-0-1) against Patriot League opponents following an earlier 3-2 home win vs. Army West Point and most recently a 2-2 draw at Loyola Maryland last Saturday.
- Overall, the Terriers are 0-1-3 in road games with 1-1 draws at Northeastern and UMass Lowell alongside a 5-1 loss at Brown.
- In Tuesday's 1-1 home draw against Boston College, junior Damola Salami netted his second goal of the season to move into a tie at five points (2g,1a) alongside sophomore Andrea Di Blasio.
- Both seniors Daniel Kim and Andrew Rent own a team-high two assists apiece.
- BU has had three keepers making appearances this fall with junior Ben Alexander (4 starts), graduate student Andrew Wike (4 starts) and junior Sheraz Saadat (1 start) combining for a .706 save percentage and 1.67 goals against average.
- Opponents are averaging 3.7 extra shots per game (11.0-7.3) with a 51-24 lead in corner kicks.
SCOUTING LEHIGH
- The Mountain Hawks are 1-2-1 at home compared to their 1-4-0 away mark. They started with a 0-0 draw against La Salle and 1-0 win over Rider in August before dropping a 2-0 decision to Rutgers and falling to Vermont, 3-2, back on Sept. 10.
- In PL action, Lehigh fell at Holy Cross, 2-1, and most recently posted a 3-2 victory at Army West Point last Saturday.
- Both Yusef Gueye and Perry Kingson own a team-high two goals apiece, while Thomas Robertson and Trey Sheeler have three points (1g,1a).
- Blake Koski has started six games at net, earning a 2.73 goals against average and .605 save percentage, while Ryan Gross has a .750 save percentage and 0.86 GAA in three starts.
- Lehigh is averaging 0.9 more shots per game than opponents (12.3-11.4) with a 52-45 advantage in corner kicks.
SERIES HISTORY
- BU leads the all-time series, 6-5-0, after winning the last two matchups at home with identical scores of 2-0.
