BOSTON – Continuing a three-game homestand, the Boston University men's soccer team will host Harvard on Tuesday night with action set for a 7 p.m. start.
The contest marks the final non-conference game of the regular season for the Terriers, who most recently battled Patriot League foe Lafayette to a 1-1 draw on Saturday. The Crimson were also home over the weekend with a 1-0 loss to then-No. 25 Penn in an Ivy League matchup.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- On Saturday, junior Quin DeLaMater moved into the team lead for points at six total thanks to his second goal of the season scored off an impressive free kick.
- DeLaMater is currently tied with sophomore Andrea Di Blasio and junior Damola Salami at two goals apiece.
- DeLaMater is also tied in assists with seniors Daniel Kim and Andrew Rent at two apiece.
- Graduate student Andrew Wike, junior Ben Alexander and junior Sheraz Saadat have all started multiple games at net, combining for a .672 save percentage and 1.73 goals against average.
- BU is 1-1-4 this season at home with a 3-2 win over Army West Point and 2-1 loss to Santa Clara.
- The Terriers have recorded a draw against all three in-state opponents faced so far. They most recently recorded a 1-1 result vs. Boston College following 1-1 ties at UMass Lowell and Northeastern.
