BOSTON – The Boston University women's tennis team competed at the Bruno Classic at Brown over the weekend. 
 
Five Terriers won two singles matches apiece over the weekend. Junior Emily Zhao defeated opponents from UConn and Dartmouth to go 2-0 on the weekend. Sophomore Blanka DeMicheli earned wins over UMass and UConn in straight sets and freshman Madison Liu defeated opponents from UConn and Dartmouth, also in straight sets.
 
Senior Nina Gulbransen and sophomore Ellie Gyuro also picked up two wins apiece. Gulbransen topped opponents from UMass and Dartmouth while Gyuro defeated opponents from UConn and Dartmouth. Gulbransen's Dartmouth match and Gyuro's UConn match were decided in straight sets.
 
BU will wrap its fall season at the ITA Conference Masters Qualifier at Army West Point beginning Friday (Oct. 25).
