Maddie MacMaster each had one goal but the scoring favored the River Hawks who pulled ahead to win 11-9.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Tillier, unassisted, opened the scoring at the 12:20 mark in the first quarter.
- UMass Lowell tied things up moments later, but the Terriers fought back quickly.
- BU went on to score six unanswered goals through the remainder of the first stanza and into the second.Â
- Sims scored her fifth of the season with 9:11 to go in the first on the free position.
- After some down time, Tillier found Gola at the 2:40 mark as she scored on a woman-up advantage.
- Just 26 seconds later, Tillier teamed up with Gola again as she scored her 24th of the season.
- Sophomore Matty Spaeth found Barry with 29 seconds to go in the quarter as the senior built BU's lead to 5-1.
- At 12:46 in the second stanza, Kaye found an opening to score her 12th of the season and 50th of her career.
- Cotraro scored a few minutes later off a pass from Spaeth to end the Terriers' scoring spree at a 7-1 lead.
- The River Hawks pushed back through the remainder of the half to score three unanswered goals and close in 7-4 with the first 30 minutes in the books.
- BU found the back of the net early in the third stanza as MacMaster set up Tick on the woman-up advantage to go up 8-4.
- The remainder of the third quarter favored UMass Lowell as it scored three additional goals, including one on a woman-up advantage, to close in on BU's lead 8-7.Â
- The River Hawks tied the game at 8-8 with 11:50 to go in the final frame before pushing ahead 10-8 with goals at the 9:23 and 7:31 marks.Â
- MacMaster responded with an unassisted goal of her own to keep the Terriers in contention as they trailed 10-9.
- With 2:01 to go in the game, UMass Lowell solidified their victory and closed out the scoring to take down BU in an 11-9 result.

- BU outshot UMass Lowell 21-18.
- The Terriers went 10-for-12 on the clear while the River Hawks went 20-for-22.
- UMass Lowell scooped up 23 ground balls to BU's 13.
- The Terriers registered 19 draw controls, eight of which went to Barry who now has 99 draw controls on the season.Â
