HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a slow start to the opening quarter, freshman Jayne Feeney passed to Gola on a free position attempt to give BU the first goal of the game.
- A few minutes later, sophomore Libby Carbo found Spaeth at the eight-meter arc who sent it in and build BU's lead to 2-0.
- After a failed scoring chance for BU, Colgate picked up the ball and marched down the field to score and close in 2-1 with 6:09 to go in the first.
- Colgate then tied things up a few minutes later.
- With 37 seconds to go in the opening quarter, Barry passed to Gola who scored her second of the day as BU led 4-3 at the end of the first.
- Agres opened the second quarter with three big saves to hold Colgate from scoring, including on a free position attempt.
- The Raiders did end up tying the game once more at 3-3 at the 7:57 mark.
- Late in the second quarter, BU started a scoring streak that lasted into the second half.
- Kaye scored her first of the game with help from Feeney and Spaeth extended the lead with help from Barry just over two minutes later.
- With 21 seconds to go, Barry scored her first of the day and was assisted by grad student Maddie MacMaster.
- In the final moments before the half, Kaye scored again with 0.3 left from the 12-meter arc thanks to a pass from MacMaster.
- Barry opened the scoring at 13:27 in the third quarter and extended BU's lead to 8-3 with her 15th goal of the season. Kaye assisted on the goal.
- Gola received a yellow card at 10:31 but the Raiders could not make anything of the advantage.
- At the 4:49 mark, Barry found Gola who scored and brought BU's streak to a close.
- Colgate earned its fourth goal of the game with 2:38 to go in the third.
- The final goal of the third quarter was scored by Gola, unassisted, to give BU a 10-4 lead headed into the fourth frame.
- Momentum swung in Colgate's favor in the fourth as it went on to score three unanswered goals and close in 10-7.
- BU's final goal of the game came from Gola who bounced one in over the Colgate goalie's shoulder.
- Colgate scored its eighth and final goal with 36 seconds to go to close out the scoring and bring the final total to BU 11, Colgate 8.

- BU outshot Colgate 21 to 19 across four quarters.
- The Terriers had its best day on the clear going 22 for 23.
- BU scooped up 16 ground balls for the third time this season.
- The Terriers controlled 12 draws on the day.
