BOSTON – The Boston University women's lacrosse team (5-1, 0-0 PL) heads to No. 14 Army West Point for its first Patriot League contest of the season on Saturday (March 11). Opening draw is set for noon.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU recently suffered its first loss at the hands of Coastal Carolina in a 13-9 decision.Â
- Sophomore Matty Spaeth scored a hat trick for the second time this season in the game against the Chanticleers, making her one of four Terriers to record two separate hat tricks in 2023.
- Freshmen Jayne Feeney and Elle Stevenson continue to be the lone freshmen to score for BU and own a combined 11 goals, nine of which are Feeney's.
- Seniors Jennifer Barry and Claire Gola remain tied for the most goals for BU with 12 each.
- Barry also has the most assists with eight, points with 20 and draw controls with 51. She is currently seventh in the nation in draw controls per game.
- As a whole, BU ranks fifth in the nation in draw controls per game with 18.33.
- Gola leads the Terriers in caused turnovers with 12 of BU's 51 and ground balls with 16 of BU's 101.

SCOUTING THE BLACK KNIGHTS
- In the most recent ILWomen/IWLCA National Poll, Army West Point sits at No. 14 after receiving 258 votes. It moves up from its previous week ranking of No. 16.
- The Black Knights are 5-0 going into the tilt with BU and earned three of those wins at home.
- Of Army's five wins, two were against ranked opponents in then-No. 19 Jacksonville and then-No. 9 Rutgers.
- Army's largest margin of victory came against Marist as it downed the Red Foxes 21-5 at home.
- The Black Knights are fresh off a 14-11 victory on the road at Hofstra.
- Army is one of two teams in the Patriot League that remains undefeated and is one of seven teams in the IWLCA Top-25 that remain undefeated.
