BOSTON – Resuming Patriot League play, the Boston University men's soccer team will host Bucknell on Saturday with the Soc'toberFest contest slated to begin at 2 p.m.
As part of Soc'toberFest, there will be food trucks, cider donuts, ears of corn and a beer garden for those 21 and older. The matchup is also part of Family & Alumni Weekend for the program, which will be honoring at halftime former head coach Neil Roberts, who led the Terriers to 28 winning seasons from 1985-2019.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is looking to bounce back after Harvard snapped its eight-game home unbeaten streak that dated back to last season, 1-0, back on Tuesday.
- The Terriers are 1-1-4 overall at home with a 1-0 win over Merrimack and shutouts against both Boston College and Lafayette.
- In the last two PL games, BU recorded a 2-2 home draw to Army and a 1-1 tie at Navy.

- Freddie Lapworth has started the last three games at net, posting a .733 save percentage and 1.33 goals against average. With eight starts, Bennett Schwartz owns a .486 save percentage and 2.40 GAA.
- Bucknell is averaging 2.4 more shots per game than opponents with a slight 52-50 edge in corners.
SERIES HISTORY
