BOSTON – The Boston University women's soccer team will conclude a three-game homestand on Wednesday when the Terriers welcome Colgate to Nickerson Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is 2-0 during this three-game home stretch, including a thrilling 2-1 comeback win over Lafayette in the Terriers' Patriot League opener on Saturday.
- Senior Amy Thompson provided the heroics, scoring in both the 79th minute and the 89th minute, with her winner coming with just 1:15 remaining in regulation.
- Thompson is the second Terrier in as many games to record a brace, as senior Jenna Oldham scored both goals in a 2-1 win over New Hampshire on Sept. 12.
- Freshman Morgan Fagan and sophomore Abigail McNulty assisted on Thompson's equalizer; they are two of five different BU players to notch an assist this season.
- Oldham leads the Terriers in both assists (5) and points (9), while senior Margaret Berry has tallied a team-best three goals.
- Freshman Celia Braun and junior Gretchen Bennett have split time in all nine games this season with Braun having made five starts.
- Bennett made two saves in the second half of Sunday's win and has not allowed a goal in three of her last four appearances, including each of the last two games.
SCOUTING THE RAIDERS
- Colgate is 4-4-0, having suffered two consecutive 2-1 overtime setbacks at Villanova and at Loyola Maryland.
- The Raiders have yet to lose three straight games this year, though they are only 1-4-0 on the road.

- Sophomore Ally Giovino also has a team-high three goals.

- Senior goalkeeper Grace Poncsak has started in two of her three appearances, including the Raiders' last game at Loyola, and played the final 50:01 against Villanova.
