BOSTON - The Boston University women's cross country team competed at the New England Championship on Saturday at Franklin Park.
BU finished 12th in the 35-team field. Sophomore
Courtney Breiner led the Terriers with a 26th-place performance. She crossed the line in 18:31.61. Junior
Gabrielle DiRenzo was 82nd (19:10.94), followed closely by freshman
Abigail Gugel in 83rd (19:12.73). Senior
Hallie Armstrong was 102nd (19:23.18), with junior
Paige Ferrucci (104th, 19:25.12) and sophomore Alicia Huera (166th, 20:07.27) rounding out the scoring for BU.
The Terriers will be back in action next Saturday (Oct. 14) when they compete in the Rothenberg Invitational at Brown.
