HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Terriers held possession throughout the entire first half and the majority of the second, aside from a flurry of Loyola shots near the end of regulation. During that time, Hannah Ciolek, who started the second half, made two stops to preserve the shutout.
- In the first overtime period, The Terriers again dominated the ball but still could not come up with a goal. Kelly Park and Jesse Shreck each put shots on the net but both were saved.
- Turning Point: Less than two minutes into the second overtime period, Rachel Blauner took things in her own hands when she received a pass from Erica Kosienski, dribbled it to the top of the box and perfectly placed a high shot above the keeper's hands to give BU the victory.
