BOSTON - In its first match-up against a fellow Patriot League member, the Boston University women's tennis team swept Holy Cross, 7-0, on Thursday afternoon at the BU Track & Tennis Center.

Snapping a three-match losing streak, the Terriers improve to 4-4, while the Crusaders fall to 5-5.

BU won 18 of 20 games in doubles to capture the first point. The Terriers then dominated in singles action by winning 64 of 66 games en route to six singles points.

The Terriers will next head south to Virginia to play at William & Mary (March 1) and at VCU (March 2).
