AUSTIN, Texas - The Boston University women's tennis team opened a weekend trip to the state of Texas with a 4-0 victory over Florida International on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers (9-5) won two doubles matches for the first point and claimed three singles points in straight sets for the team victory against the Panthers (2-15).

Freshman Kim McCallum dropped the fewest amount of games in a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles after teaming with classmate Lauren Davis for an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles.

Senior Jessi Linero battled in the first set at No. 5 singles before coasting in a 6-3, 6-0 win. Senior Vivien Laszloffy rolled in the No. 2 slot to a 6-2, 6-1 victory after she helped sophomore Sami Lieb defeat FIU's No. 2 doubles team, 8-6.

The Terriers will return to action on Sunday (April 7) at No. 24 Texas with action set to begin at 1 p.m.
