ORLANDO, Fla. - Concluding an eight-match road trip, the Boston University women's tennis team fell at Central Florida, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon. With their three-match win streak snapped, the Terriers drop to 6-5, while the Golden Knights improve to 10-5.

UCF battled to win two of the three doubles contests for the first point and then claimed four singles points in straight sets for the team victory.

After losing the top doubles match at 8-1, freshmen Lauren Davis and Kim McCallum teamed together for an 8-2 victory in the third slot. Looking to capture the doubles point, senior Vivien Laszloffy and sophomore Sami Lieb came up just short at No. 2 in a hard-fought 8-6 loss.

Laszloffy and Lieb through rebounded with strong performances in singles action. Competing in the No. 2 spot, Laszloffy coasted past Jenna Doerfler, 6-1, 6-1. Lieb won BU's other point at No. 3 with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Josephine Heraldson.

The Terriers will return to action at the BU Track & Tennis Center on Thursday, March 28, against Albany at 3 p.m.
