Results

The Boston University women's tennis team continued its fall schedule this past weekend at the three-day Big Green Invitational, which featured host Dartmouth, West Virginia and in-state rival UMass.

Sophomore Johanna Hyoty led the Terriers with a combined 5-1 record in singles and doubles. Two weeks after reaching the quarterfinals of the ITA Regionals, she and senior Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis went a perfect 3-0 in doubles against the top duos from the other schools.

Competing in the No. 2 slot, Hyoty dropped just two games to West Virginia before earning a three-set victory against UMass and falling to Dartmouth. Fellow sophomore Lauren Davis won her first two matches in the top spot in straight sets before also dropping a match to the Big Green.

Sophomore Kim McCallum was the lone Terrier to post a perfect singles record. She claimed a three-set victory over the Mountaineers and then earned identical 6-4, 6-4 wins over UMass and Dartmouth at No. 6.

The Terriers will next conclude the fall season at the Harvard Fall Classic on Nov. 8-10.
