HANOVER, N.H. - Completing a six-match road trip, the Boston University women's tennis team fell at Dartmouth, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon. The Big Green (6-8) swept through doubles and captured all six singles points for the team victory.
Junior Vivien Laszloffy rallied from a set down to send the top singles match to a third set, but she eventually fell to Sarah Leonard, 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.
Classmate Jessi Linero won the first set at No. 3 but was broken at a critical time in the second, as Janet Liu earned a 3-6, 7-5, 10-6 to complete the sweep against the Terriers.
BU (5-9) will look to rebound when it hosts America East foe Albany on Sunday (April 1) with action slated to begin at 1 p.m.
The match will mark the final one at home for seniors Stefanie Nunic, Monika Mical and Petra Santini. The trio has helped the Terriers claim three America East titles and NCAA berths with Nunic earning two America East Player of the Year honors during her collegiate career.
