BOSTON – The Boston University women's ice hockey team faces Boston College in a home-and-home series this week. BU heads to BC on Thursday for a 6 p.m. game at Conte Forum before hosting BC on Friday at 7 p.m. at Agganis Arena.

In 2024, BU hosted BC at Agganis and set a home and Hockey East attendance record of 2,866. Fans in attendance have an opportunity to receive a Red the Rink t-shirt and light up sticks while supplies last.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU split its weekend series with Maine, dropping the first contest 3-1 and winning the second 2-1.
Junior Neely Nicholson scored in the loss on a shorthanded attempt and freshman Avery Supryka recorded her first collegiate assist.
In the win, seniors Sydney Healey and Clara Yuhn totaled two points apiece with a goal and an assist.
Sophomores Tessa Demain and Kaileigh Quigg also registered assists in the win, with Demain's being her first collegiate point.
Graduate student Michelle Pasiechnyk played between the posts in both contests, making a combined 59 saves over the weekend.
Ten Terriers have found the back of the net while 12 have made at least one assist.
The Terriers' faceoff win percentage of 0.541 leads Hockey East.
BU's three shorthanded goals lead Hockey East and are tied for first in the NCAA.
Senior Lilli Welcke leads the Terriers in faceoff wins with 126, which ranks second in Hockey East and 19th in the NCAA. Her faceoff percentage of 60.3 is tied for the lead in Hockey East.
S. Healey's points per game of 1.00 and goals per game of 1.00 is fifth in the league. Her two game-winning goals rank second in the league and 11th in the NCAA.
S. Healey leads BU in points (10), goals (5) and assists (5) this season.
Supryka leads the Terriers in +/- with a value of +4.
Senior Maeve Carey leads in blocks with 16.
Pasiechnyk's save percentage (.918) is ranked sixth in Hockey East while junior Mari Pietersen's (.887) is 13th.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES

BC is 5-6-1 on the season with a 4-2-1 mark in Hockey East play.
The Eagles are 1-1-0 at home and 4-5-1 on the road.
BC most recently split its series with then-No. 8 UConn, losing 3-1 at home and winning 2-1 on the road.
The Eagles are 1-5-0 against ranked foes this year.
BC has been shut out in regulation twice this season, losing 3-0 to Cornell on Oct. 17 and 11-0 to Minnesota on Sept. 26.
BC's lone tie came against Vermont, 0-0. The Eagles won the shootout, 2-1.
Freshman Ava Thomas leads Hockey East in points (16), shots (87) and game-winning goals (3).
Netminder Grace Campbell has played in all 12 games for the Eagles and leads the league in total saves with 387.
BC is receiving votes in both the USA Hockey and USCHO polls this week and is currently second in the Hockey East standings.

SERIES HISTORY VS. BOSTON COLLEGE

BU is 28-39-8 overall against BC with a 12-16-4 record at Conte Forum and a 12-3-3 record at home. At Agganis, BU is 0-1-0.
The Terriers last faced the Eagles in the 2025 Hockey East semifinals, winning 3-2 in double overtime.
BU is currently on a three-game winning streak against BC.
In the last meeting at Conte, BU posted a 3-1 win over the Eagles.
At Agganis last year, BU fell 3-2 in overtime to BC.
Last season was the first time since 2019-20 that BU earned back-to-back wins over the Eagles in the same season.
