Men's Track and Field Competes at Northeastern's Solomon Invite

DEDHAM, Mass. - Overcoming the cold and rainy elements Saturday, the Boston University men's track and field team competed at Northeastern's Solomon Invitational at Solomon Track. Sophomore Billy Whelan led the Terriers with a victory in the 800-meter run, while Ken Haltom posted the top time in the 1,500m.
Other schools participating included Bridgewater State, Roxbury and GBTC.
Dan Withrow led BU in the field events by winning the shot put and the discus throw. Max Esposito was also victorious for the Terriers in the 400m.
The men will next compete at the three-day Penn Relays ()April 22-24) and the Stonehill Invitational (April 23).
