The Boston University women's ice hockey team will host No. 3 Boston College on Saturday afternoon at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 3 p.m.
CLOSE PROXIMITY, CLOSE GAMES
- BU and BC have played some close games of late.
- Six of the last seven meetings between the B-line rivals have been decided by two goals or fewer.
- The last time these two teams skated at Walter Brown, BU scored five times in the third period to earn a 5-3 victory over the Eagles on Nov. 5.
HISTORY WITH THE EAGLES
- Saturday is the 49th all-time meeting between BU and BC.
- The Terriers are 17-25-6 all-time against the Eagles, including a 7-11-2 record at Walter Brown Arena.
- The teams split last year's Hockey East series, with both squads earning a 5-3 home victory before settling for a 1-1 tie at BC on Jan. 7.

EYEING THE EAGLES
- BC is 4-0-1 this season, most recently skating away from Vermont with a 4-2 victory on Sunday after settling for a 2-2 tie at UConn earlier that weekend.
- Freshman Daryl Watts enters the weekend tied for the NCAA lead with 14 points thanks to six goals and eight assists through five games.
- Watts is tied for the league lead in both goals and assists, with teammate Caitrin Lonergan also entering the weekend with six goals.
- Senior goaltender Katie Burt has started all five games for BC, posting a .929 save percentage and a 1.97 goals-against average.

- After the Terriers face BC on Saturday, it will be a quick turnaround as they will travel to New Hampshire on Sunday.
- The Wildcats will host Maine on Saturday in their second of three games in five days.
