HOW IT HAPPENED
- After taking a 1-0 lead into the second intermission, Boston University scored on all three of its shots in the final frame to secure a split following a 4-2 loss to the Catamounts on Friday.
- Freshman Clayton Keller recorded a power-play goal and an assist while junior Chase Phelps opened the scoring midway through the first to earn the eventual game-winner.
- Senior Nick Roberto pushed the lead to 3-0 at 16:06 of the third with his fourth goal of season.
- A long empty-netter by junior Brandon Hickey created the 4-0 final after Vermont pulled goaltender Stefanos Lekkas on a late power play for a 6-on-4 advantage.
- Phelps got things going when he crashed the net and punched in a rebound midway through the opening period. Sophomore Oskar Andrén and freshman Gabriel Chabot picked up assists on the play.
- Keller doubled the lead in the opening minute of the third on a power play that existed thanks to a hard-earned penalty drawn by sophomore Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson in the final seconds of the middle period.
- After a battle for the puck behind the UVM goal was won by sophomore Jordan Greenway, freshman Patrick Harper got the puck to Keller, who created space in the right circle before wristing a shot to the back of the net for his sixth goal of the season.
- Freshman Patrick Curry, who was serving a bench minor for too many men on the ice, burst out of the box and started a rush before finding Roberto for his tally with 3:54 to play.
GAME NOTES
- This was Oettinger's third shutout of the season and first on the road.
- UVM held a 28-24 shot advantage but came up empty on five power-play opportunities.
- BU was 1-for-4 with the man advantage and remains the top-ranked team in the nation in combined special teams (58 percent).

- This marked the first time in six games that the Terriers entered the first intermission with a lead.
