High School Band Day at BU Men's Basketball
BOSTON UNIVERSITY HIGH SCHOOL BAND DAY

Boston University is inviting High School Bands to perform with the BU Pep Band at Men's Basketball on Saturday January 21, 2023.
This event is FREE, and is open to students in any type of high school band. Participants may come in small groups or with their entire band. Come learn how a collegiate band adds excitement and energy to the game-day atmosphere, and take what you learn back to your school!
SCHEDULE - Saturday January 21, 2023
Arrive between 10:00-11:00 AM (BU Bands Building, 300 Babcock St., Boston MA 02215)
11:00 AM - Meet & greet, and short rehearsal
12:00 PM - Grab a snack and head to the game
12:30 PM - Perform lightly during pregame
1:00 PM - GAME BEGINS (BU Men’s Basketball vs Loyola Maryland)
3:00 PM - Approximate game end
3:15 PM - Pizza provided back in the BU Bands Building
The BU Pep Band will send some easy fun music to you in advance, and we would love to learn one of your tunes as well! But since the BU Pep Band will be performing along with high school bands at this event, there’s no pressure on your band - just play along with BU.
The Boston University Department of Athletics will provide FREE admission to games, FREE pizza after the event, and FREE bus parking for all high school band students that register in advance.
