EUGENE, Ore. - Junior Allison Barwise of the Boston University women's track & field team concluded her outdoor season after she competed in the high jump final at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Saturday night at Hayward Field.

Barwise finished in 11th place after she hit her first height of 1.79m on Saturday. She was fifth-best among all NCAA Division I athletes who competed. She also hit a height of 1.79m on Thursday to advance to the 13-athlete final.

Katie Matthews also competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials, as she completed the 10,000m run with a time of 33:45.22.

A two-time All-America selection in 2012, Barwise achieved a career-best height of 1.87m at the ECAC Championships in May. During the outdoor season, she was named the Northeast Region Women's Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA and earned Most Outstanding Field Performer honors at the America East Championships.
