EUGENE, Ore. - Junior Allison Barwise of the Boston University women's track & field team advanced to the high jump final at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Thursday night at Hayward Field.

Barwise will be one of 13 athletes to compete in the final on Saturday night (8 p.m.) after she was successful on her first jump at 1.79m. She is one of seven NCAA Division I athletes remaining in the competition.

A two-time All-America selection in 2012, Barwise achieved a career-best height of 1.87m at the ECAC Championships in May. During the outdoor season, she was named the Northeast Region Women's Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA and earned Most Outstanding Field Performer honors at the America East Championships.
