New Balance Results

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Boston University women's track & field team competed at the New Balance Twilight Meet #1, hosted by Bentley, on Saturday night.

Senior Rosa Moriello led the Terriers with a victory in the 1,500m run. She took the event with a personal-best time of 4:25.69. Junior Ashli Tagoai (4:37.92) and freshman Felicia Sciortino (4:38.92) finished seventh and eighth, respectively, in that event. Sophomore Rachel Lotterman (4:45.42) and freshman Sydney Lagueux (4:46.67) also took part in the 1,500m run while senior Ally Brillaud posted a time of 2:30.28 in the 800m run.

BU also had two athletes compete at the New England Championships held Friday and Saturday at Westfield State. Junior Tessa Runels took third in the triple jump with a season-best leap of 12.10 meters and senior Sarah Dillard (47.21m) competed in the hammer throw.

The Terriers will travel to Princeton, N.J., for the ECAC Championships on May 16, 17 and 18.
