Terriers Take Part at Snowflake Classic

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Boston University women’s track & field team competed at the Snowflake Classic hosted by Tufts University on Saturday at Dussault Track
The Terriers finished eighth with a score of 33.50 points. They were the top Division I team at the meet.

Freshman Kerri Graber won the 400m dash with a time of 1:00.11. Graber (26.52) and sophomore Talia Flores (26.60) finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 200m dash. Flores also had a time of 13.18 seconds in the 100m dash.

Freshman Tina Romak was fifth in the 800m run with a mark of 2:25.00. Classmate Breanna Lechase (2:32.13) also competed in that event. Sophomore Rachel Lotterman (4:53.10) took third in the 1,500m run, with freshman Sydney Lagueux (4:57.52) also earning a top-15 finish.

In field events, sophomore Catherine Sampson secured sixth in the high jump (1.50m). Freshman Adrienne Pascucci (1.45m), classmate Erika Treske (1.40m) and sophomore Alexandra Fox (1.40m) also competed in that event. Sophomore Demi McEntee (33.21m) took 10th in the javelin.

Treske (29.37m) sophomore Jackie Lowell (27.79m) and Sampson (17.50m) also took part in the javelin. Freshman Catherine Yu had a mark of 25.66 meters in the discus, while Treske (9.88m) and Sampson (9.86m) had top-20 marks in the shot put.

BU will be back in action next weekend at the Florida Relays and the Stanford Invitational.
