Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

AS A SENIOR IN 2012-13
During the indoor season, finished fourth with a personal-best mark of 16.02m in the weight throw at the USATF New England Championships ... Was sixth in the weight throw at the New England Championships (15.30m) ... Had a fifth-place finish in the weight throw (15.40m) at the Tufts Stampede on Feb. 2 ... Placed ninth in the weight throw (15.34m) at the Terrier Invitational on Jan. 25 ... Finished second in the weith throw (15.57m) at the Multi-Team Meet on Jan. 17.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2011-12
During the outdoor season, was sixth in the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 44.92m and also competed in the discus (32.83m) at the America East Championships ... Won the hammer throw at the MIT Invitational (42.58m) ... Competed in the hammer throw at the Brown Springtime Open (41.86m) ... Competed in the discus (28.12m) and the hammer throw (39.42m) at the Skyhawk Invitational ... Competed in the hammer throw (39.55m) and the discus (31.60m) at the George Davis Invitational ... Was sixth in the discus (33.29m) and also competed in the hammer throw (36.92m) at the Snowflake Classic ... Had a toss of 32.51m in the discus and a mark of 41.31m in the hammer throw at the Shamrock Invitational ... During the indoor season, competed in the weight throw at the BU Multi-Team Meet (fifth/14.47m), the Terrier Invitational (23rd/12.76m), the Battle of Beantown (8th/12.98m), the Valentine Invitational (17th/12.97m), and the AE Championships (16th/10.89m) ... During the outdoor season, competed in both the hammer throw and discus throw ... At the America East Championships, finished 10th in the discus (33.90m) and 9th in the hammer throw (40.73m).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009-10
During the indoor season, competed in the weight throw at the Jay Carisella Invitational (9.05m, 29-08.25), BU Multi-Team Meet (10.49m, 34-05.00), Terrier Invitational (11.83m, 38-09.75), Battle of Beantown (12.72m, 41-08.75), Valentine Invitational (12.44m, 40-09.75) and AE championships (11.82m, 38-09.50) ... In the outdoor season, participated in the discus throw at the Seminole Invitational (third/31.08m), UConn Select Invitational (27.40m) and Stonehill Invitational (30.86m)...
