AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006-07 Indoor: Opened the season with two-first places finishes at the New Balance Invitational, taking the 800 meters with a time of 2:18.70 and the mile with a time of 5:08.38... Earned AE Track Performer of the Week for her efforts... The next weekend at the Harvard Invitational, placed first in the mile with a time of 5:05.90... Shaved even more time off her mile the following weekend, placing third in the mile at BU's home opener, with a time of 5:01.34... During the America East Indoor Championships, set a person best in the mile with a time of 4:58.65 and the 800 with a time of 2:11.62... Also placed first in the distance medley (12:14.26) and second in the 4x800-meter relay (9:03.28), as the women capture the AE title... At the New England Championships, placed third in the 800 (2:12.41), before closing out the season at the ECAC Championships, with an eighth-place finish in the 4x800-meter relay (9:14.95). BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY Attended East Aurora High School... As a freshman, she was a USATF Youth Ahtletic National and Jr. Olympic National Top 8 Finisher in the 800, placing seventh and sixth, respectively... Named N.Y. State small school champion in the 800 meters and held high school records in the 400, 800 and 4x400 relay... As a sophomore, was a USATF Outdoor National Finalist, placing third in the 800 and was a NY State small school 4x400 relay anchor champion... During her junior year, was the Youth Outdoor National Track & Field Champion in the 1500, an Empire State Games Track & Field Champion in the 800 and 1500... Set school records in the 200, 400, 800, 1500, 4x400 and 4x800 relays... As a senior, was part of the N.Y. State Class-B cross country championship team and was a N.Y.
