Led by head coach Neil Roberts, the Boston University menís soccer team return 18 letter winners for its inaugural season in the Patriot League. 2012 America East All-Conference honoree Anthony Ciccone and 2011 America East Defender of the Year Kelvin Madzongwe will serve as team co-captains. The Terriersí schedule includes five 2012 NCAA tournament participants this season.
Led by head coach Nancy Feldman, the Boston University womenís soccer team returns 10 starters, including 2013 Patriot League preseason Offensive Player of the Year Madison Clemens, from last yearís 12-6-1 squad that captured its sixth straight America East regular-season title. The Terriers have a 19-game schedule, highlighted by four contests against 2012 NCAA tournament participants.
Led by head coach Sally Starr, the Boston University field hockey team will host 11 of its 18 matches this season at New Balance Field and will open the new state-of-the-art facility against Ohio University on Saturday, Aug. 31. This season marks the first time the Terriers will have an AstroTurf field of their own after playing at other local universities for the past 11 years.
On July 1, Boston University officially moved 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, Loyola Maryland and Navy .

Named America East Woman of the Year and America East Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... Was a USTFCCCA First Team All-American in the 10,000m run after she finished fifth at the NCAA Championships (33:43.26) ... Is the first Terrier athlete, male or female, to earn three All-America selections in one calendar year ... Was a two-time America East Scholar-Athlete ... Was 11th in the 3,000m run at the NCAA Championships (9:17.71) to earn Second Team All-America accolades ... Broke the school record in the 3,000m run with a time of 9:05.73 at the Husky Classic ... During the indoor season, set a new school record in the 5,000m run with a time of 15:52.80 ... Won the mile run at the Battle of Beantown (4:46.95) .... Finished first in the 3,000m run at the BU Multi-Team Meet (9:17.80).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2010-11
During the indoor season, finished in the top-three in every race ... At the America East Championships, took first in the 5000m with a time of 16:06.38 and third in the 3000m with a time of 9:31.94 ... Finished sixth at the NCAA Championships in the 5000m with a time of 16:13.21 and earned All- American honors ... In the outdoor season, placed first in the 5000m with a time of 16:26.41 ... Earned first team All- American honors after placing 8th in the 10,000m final at the NCAA Championships ... Made it to the USA Nationals.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009-10
During the indoor season, competed in the 3,000m run at the BU Multi-Team Meet (third/9:54.88), Battle of Beantown (first/10:01.48), AE Championships (fifth/9:58.32)... Also participated in the one-mile run at the Terrier Invitational (ninth/5:03.23) and 5,000m run at the AE Championships (fourth/17:16.71) ... In the outdoor season, competed in the 5,000m run at the Carolina Classic (fifth/17:51.48), Florida Relays (15th/17:36.6) ... Placed second (35:32.03) in the 10,000-meter run at the AE Championships and earned all-conference honors ... Won the 10,000-meter run at the ECAC Championships (35:36.29).
