Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

The Boston University track & field teams opened the 2013 indoor season with the Multi-Team Meet at the TTC.
AS A SENIOR IN 2012-13
During the indoor season, had a personal-best time of 4:51.34 in the mile to finish sixth at the ECAC Championships ... Competed in the 800m run (2:15.84) and as part of the 4x800m relay team (9:32.97) at the New England Championships ... Was fourth in the mile at the BU Make Up Meet (4:56.57) ... Had a personal-best time of 2:14.72 in the 800m run at the Terrier Classic ... Finished first in the 1,000m run with a time of 2:53.04, a personal-best, at the Multi-Team Meet on Jan. 17.
AS A SENIOR IN 2011-12
During the outdoor season, competed in the 800m run at the New England Championships (2:14.84), America East Championships (2:15.00), Larry Ellis Invitational (2:17.31) and Patriot Open (2:18.08) ... Had a personal-best time of 1:02.06 in the 400m run at the Snowflake Classic ... Was on 4x800m relay team that finished second at the America East Championships and was also on 4x400m relay team that was second at the Brown Springtime Open ... During the indoor season, competed in the 800m run at the New England Championships (2:17.05), Valentine Invitational (2:18.83), Battle of Beantown (2:20.91) and Terrier Invitational (2:18.39) ... Competed in the mile run at the USATF New England Indoor Championships (5:18.02) ... Was part of 4,000m distance medley team at the America East Championships and the Battle of Beantown ... Was part of 4x400m relay team at the Terrier Invitational ... Had a time of 3:02.66 in the 1,000m run at the BU Multi-Team Meet.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010-11
During the indoor season, finished fourth in the distance medley (12:17.70), sixth in the 4x800 relay (9:29.09), and 10th in the 800m (2:19.55) at the America East Championships ... Placed third at the Terrier Invitational in the 1000m with a time of 2:59.19 ... In the outdoor season, placed third (9:14.79) at the America East Championships with the 4x800 relay team.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009-10
During the outdoor season, placed eighth in the 800-meter run at the UConn Select Invitational with a time of 2:21.67 ... At the Stonehill Invitational, finished 14th in the 800m run (2:20.07) ...Placed fourth (9:13.22) at the AE Championships with the 4x800m relay team (Sarah Mosser, Kathleen Davies, Anna Lukes).
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Earned state titles with Rocky Mountain's 4x800m and 4x400m relay teams ... Was twice a 4x800 runner-up and garnered one second-place cross country finish ... Competed in 10 events at the state championships during four years at Rocky Mountain, including the 1,600m and 800m runs, and the 4x400 and 4x800 relays.
