James still holds one season of eligibility in outdoor track and field.

AS A SENIOR IN 2007-08

Earned All-America honors in both indoor and outdoor seasons in the triple jump ... Finished 14th in the triple jump at U.S. Olympic Trials (13.40m) ... Set the school record in the triple jump with a 13.68m jump in preliminaries at the NCAA Outdoor Championship before finishing ninth with a 13.30m jump in the finals ... Was part of the 4x100m relay team that ran a school record 46.47 at the NCAA East Regionals ... Won the triple jump (13.01m) and the long jump (6.18m) at the America East Outdoor Championship ... Finished first in the triple jump at the UConn Invitational (13.64m) ... Won the long jump at the Florida Relays (6.01m) ... At the NCAA Indoor Championships, posted a personal and school record of 13.42m for sixth place in the triple jump ... Was the America East and New England triple jump champion ... Named America East Field Performer of the Year for the second straight year.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2006-07

Won the America East long jump and triple jump, as well as the New England triple jump ... Named the 2007 Mildred Barnes Award winner, which is given annually to Boston University's top female athlete.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06

Competed in the NCAA Championships with a 16th place finish in the triple jump ... Helped BU capture the America East title, placing first in the long jump (5.79m) and triple jump (12.30m), second in the 55m (7.29), third in the 200m (25.09), and was a member of the first-place 4x400 relay team (3:49.47) ... Added two more first place finishes, taking the triple jump at the New England Championships (13.14m), as well as at the ECAC Championships (12.59m) ... During BU's second-place showing at the America East Championships, placed second in the 100m with a time of 12.14 and third in the 200m (24.71).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05

Finished second in both the long jump (5.73m) and set a conference record with a NCAA regional qualifying leap of 12.68m ... Earned another first-place finish in the triple jump (12.46m) at the New England Championships.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Attended Branford High School ... Was the first state champion in the long jump and triple jump in school history ... Also held the New England School record in triple jump ... Senior year, held the Connecticut long jump record for both indoor and outdoor and set the school record for the 400m, long jump, high jump and the 300m ... In 2004, set the New England Championship long jump record of 6.02m and was ninth in the Nike Indoor Championship and tenth in the Adidas National Championship ... Captained her track teams and held All-Area and All-League honors.
