Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2012-13
Had a personal-best time of 7.74 seconds in the 60m dash at the New England Championships ... Ran a personal-best time of 24.93 seconds in the 200m dash at the ECAC Championships ... Competed in the 60m dash (7.77), the 200m dash (25.49) and as a member of the 4x400m relay team (3:54.82) at the Collegiate Invitational on Feb. 2 ... Placed first in the 60m dash with a time of 7.71 at the Multi-Team Meet on Jan. 17.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011-12
During the outdoor season, won the 200m dash at the Skyhawk Invitational with a personal-best time of 25.84 seconds ... Also came in second place in the 100m dash at the Skyhawk Invitational (12.59) ... Finished seventh in the 100m dash (12.37), competed in the 200m dash, and was part of second-place 4x100m relay team at the America East Championships ... Was sixth in the 100m dash at the Brown Springtime Open (12.49) ... Competed at the Texas Relays and the Florida Relays ... During the indoor season, competed in the 60m dash at the America East Championships (8.01), Valentine Invitational (7.95), Battle of Beantown (7.94), Terrier Invitational (8.02) and BU Multi-Team Met (7.93) ... Competed in the 200m dash at the Battle of Beantown (26.31), the Terrier Invitational (26.30) and the BU Multi-Team Meet (26.39).
