Women's Tennis Dominates America East All-Conference Honors
BOSTON - The Boston University women's tennis team earned five of the six possible singles spots on the America East All-Conference First Team and two of the three possible All-Conference doubles team slots this season. BU also earned spots on the Second Team All-Conference for both singles and doubles. Sophomore Yana Sadovskaya (Riga, Latvia), freshman Rebecca Row (Austin, Tex.), freshman Francine Whu (Staten Island, N.Y.), sophomore Cori Lefkowith (Clayton, Mo.) and freshman Elizabeth Corrao (Holden, Mass.) earned Nos. 2-6 on the first team all-conference. Senior co-captain Erin Katims (Boca Raton, Fla.) received the No. 1 spot on the second team all-conference. Whu and Katims and Row and Sadovskaya were each placed on the first team all-conference for doubles. Senior Katie Draganova and Corrao garnered second team all-conference for doubles. Boston University won its 14th-straight America East title on April 29 after sweeping both Stony Brook and UMBC in the America East Tournament. The Terriers have drawn No. 8 USC in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 12 in Los Angelos, Calif.
