BOSTON - The Boston University women's tennis team (9-7, 2-0 America East) ended the 2008 spring dual season on a high note, claiming a 7-0 sweep of UMass (11-10, 4-0 A-10) on Tuesday, April 14 at the Track and Tennis Center.

The BU women earned straight sets victories in five of six singles matches and won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. The win marked the fourth sweep for the Terriers this season and second straight win.

Boston University will now attempt to defend the Terriers' America East championship as the Terriers go for their 15th straight conference crown at the league tournament from April 25-27.
