Junior Karissa Lopez (Santa Fe, NM) took first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.27, and the 200 Fly in 2:06.49, and was part of the winning 400 medley relay team as the Boston University women's swimming and diving team defeated Central Connecticut State University, 147-82 on December 9.
As a team, the Terriers took first place in 10 of 13 events, to improve to 2-3 on the season.
Freshman Lauren Foster (Lake Quivera, KS) took first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:55.81, nearly three seconds ahead of second-place finisher Marci Borlinski of Central Connecticut State. Foster was also part of the winning 400 freestyle relay team, which posted a time of 3:43.04, over 15 seconds better than Central Connecticut State's entry
Sophomore Stacey Gallacher (Horseheads, NY) took first in both the one and three meter dives. Gallacher scored a 292 in the three meter, and posted a 270.30 in the one meter.
The Terriers return to action on January 3, when they compete in the Forum Classic.
