Divers Represent BU at 2009 All-Stars Challenge

Orlando, Fla. - Divers Tess Waresmith, Andre Watson and Tanner Knorr took part in the 2009 All-Stars Challenge in Orlando Fla., over the weekend and the Terriers will now look towards the America East Swimming and Diving Championships beginning on Thursday.

Waresmith competed in the one- and three-meter springboard events with her best showing coming on the 1M, where she finished third overall with a score of 470.25. On the 3M, Waresmith, competing against two Olympians, finished ninth in the preliminary round with a score 214.75.

In the finals of the 3M, Knorr went head-to-head with eventual champion Ford McLiney, and went on to take eighth place with a score of 267.20. On the 1M, Knorr took fifth with a score of 519.60.

Watson, who competed in the preliminaries for the 1M and 3M, posted scores of 314.75 and 303.60, respectively.
