Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

AS A SENIOR IN 2012-13: Won 1m diving event (259.50) and placed fourth on the 3m board (242.07) at the ECAC Championships.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2011-12: Named America East Diver of the Meet for the third straight season after sweeping the 1-meter (277.85) and 3-meter (280.30) events ... Qualified for the NCAA Zone A Diving Championship and advanced to the finals off the 3-meter board with a score of 496.20 to finish 17th while also posting 207.25 points from the 1-meter board to finish 35th ... Went undefeated on the 3-meter board during the regular season and posted three first place finishes and a second place showing on the 1-meter board.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010-11: For the second straight year, was named the 2011 AE Diver of the Meet after sweeping the one- and three-meter boards at the conference championships ... Set a new America East record with a score of 602.05 in the 3M and scored 531.95 in the 1M ... Placed 17th in the National Championships, posting a score of 246.55 in the platform dive.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009-10: Was named the 2010 AE Diver of the Meet after sweeping the one- and three-meter boards at the conference championships ... Following a strong performance at the Zone A Diving Championships, qualified for the NCAAs ... At Zone's, placed eighth on the 1M (494.00) and 10th on the 3M (524.10) ... Had the highest finish by a swimmer or diver in six years at the NCAAs with matching 23rd-place finishes on the 1M (237.85) and platform (231.15).
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY: Was a three-time Hungarian national champion and as a senior was a European Championship finalist ... Also participated in gymnastics ... Academically, earned the Merit Award for outstanding academic and sporting achievements.
