AS A SENIOR IN 2013-14:Placed ninth in the 200 IM (2:03.61), 11th in the 200 backstroke (2:02.51), 15th in the 200 freestyle (1:52.19) and was a member of the school record-setting second-place 800 freestyle relay team, the fourth-place 400 medley relay team and the fifth-place 200 medley relay team at the Patriot League Championships.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2012-13: Won the 200 freestyle (1:50.03), placed fourth in the 200 IM (2:03.62), member of winning 200 medleys, 400 and 800 freestyle relays and competed in the 200 backstroke finals at the ECAC Championships.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011-12: Named to America East All-Academic Team ... Posted three top-five individual finishes at the America East Championship including a tie for second in the 200 IM (2:02.73), fourth in the 200 freestyle (1:50.48) and fifth in the 100 freestyle (51.66) while also swimming a leg of the winning 800 freestyle relay ... Posted six top-five finishes in the 100 freestyle during the regular season, including three victories ... Claimed three wins and two second place finishes in the 200 freestyle during the regular season ... Swam the 100 backstroke in two meets, winning both races ... Competed in the 200 IM in three meets during the regular season ... Member of four winning 200 medley relay teams.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010-11: Competed in five events at the 2011 AE Championships, placing as high as third in the 400 free relay (3:26.36) ... Also placed fourth in the 800 free relay (7:29.20) and sixth in both the 200 IM and the 200 freestyle with times of 2:05.65 and 1:51.43, respectively.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY: Was a four-time Sun Chronicle All-Star... Two-time state champion and the 2010 Boston Globe Swimmer of the Year ... Was a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Science, Spanish, Music, History, English and Math Honor societies ... A National Merit Commended Scholar ... Earned the President's Education Award.

PERSONAL: Born on Oct. 12, 1991 ... Daughter of Yung-Fong Cheng and Yuanfang Deng ... Enrolled in the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation.
