BOSTON - The Boston University softball team (20-13, 5-1 AE) will host No. 22 Massachusetts (25-7, 8-0 A-10) in a rematch on Tuesday afternoon at BU Softball Field. The Terriers will look to avenge a 3-0 loss to the Minutewomen last week that halted an eight-game winning streak.

Junior April Setterlund continues her tear through the 2010 season with a nation-leading .573 batting average. If her BA holds above .500 for the remainder of the season, she would be the first Terriers in the history of the program to finish above that mark and shatter the previous school record that was set in 1991 by Meredith Fiorentino (.414).

Setterlund's batting has been second to none this season and it is showing in the record books as she holds single-season school marks for RBIs (44) and is two away from tying her own record for doubles, which now stands at 15 set in 2009. Additionally, she is also currently the program leader in batting average (.420), doubles (40) and slugging percentage (.674).

In the pitcher's circle, head coach Shawn Rychcik has used a rotation of four hurlers, relying heavily on the arms of senior Cassidi Hardy and rookie Whitney Tuthill. Hardy, who is one of only two pitchers in the America East with 12 wins, owns a 2.62 ERA in 107 innings pitched with 125 strikeouts, which is third-best in the conference. Tuthill has made an immediate on the team, making 14 appearances and amassing a 6-2 record with two shutouts and 34 strikeouts.

Following Tuesday afternoon's contest, BU will turn around on Wednesday and host Bryant at 4 p.m. at BU Softball Field.
