AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008:Earned a spot on the America East All-Conference All-Rookie squad ... Started every game of the 2008 campaign, hitting .225 with five doubles, one home run, 17 RBI and three stolen bases ... Was also strong on defense with a .973 fielding percentage at second base ... Named America East Softball Rookie of the Week two weeks in a row ... Won her second (April 28) with a .600 batting average in five games ... Had eight multi-hit games, including an effort against UMBC that included two hits and three RBI in three at-bats ... Hit .667 against left-handed pitchers over the season.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY:A three-year starter at Bishop Montgomery High School and earned scholar athlete honors in each of those three seasons ... Was a three-time All-Del Rey recipient and earned First Team All-CIF and All-Area honors in 2006 and 2006 ... Was the team MVP all three varsity seasons ... Was the Bishop Montgomery Athlete of the Year in 2007 and led her high school to the CIF finals for the first time in school history in 2007 ... Played with fellow Terrier April Setterland on the Mizzuno Pride in the 2006 ASA Gold National Tournament ... Summer travel softball team is Philly's Gold, managed by Pat Kelly ...
