BU added to its advantage in the ninth minute with Clemens’ team-leading sixth goal of the season. Fisher sent a crossing pass into the box which Clemens received and blasted the ball past Mason to put the Terriers ahead 2-0 less than 10 minutes into the game.
The Raiders managed just three shots in the first half and only tested Green once in the 26th minute with a shot by Sarah Coy. Green made the save to keep BU on top, 2-0. The Terriers had a couple of chances late in the half to add to their lead, but Clark had her shot stopped in the 43rd minute before freshman Erica Kosienski’s attempt was blocked in the 44th minute.
Fisher added to BU’s lead in the 50th minute with her second goal of the season. Clemens sent a cross to Fisher, who was open in the box, and one-timed the ball past the Raiders’ goalie to give BU a 3-0 advantage.
Colgate recorded two shot attempts in the second half with only one strike aimed at the goal. Emily Pullen attempted to get the Raiders on the board in the 80th minute but Green made the save.
Senior Megan McGoldrick nearly added another goal for the Terriers in the 88th minute when her shot hit the post but BU ended the game with a 3-0 victory.
