Frey, Swain Named to IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll

Graduated seniors Hannah Frey and Molly Swain of the Boston University women's lacrosse team were both named to the 2012 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll.

Frey was named to the team after she maintained a 3.34 grade-point average this past year. She graduated in May with a degree in health science. While she excelled in the classroom, Frey also had a strong year on the field. She appeared in all 17 games for the Terriers and totaled 25 goals and one assist for 26 points.

Swain earned a 3.48 GPA this past year and graduated in May with a degree in painting. The Terrier co-captain had a fantastic final year, as she appeared in all 17 games and collected 28 goals and four assists for 32 points. Swain was also named to the America East All-Conference Second Team.

This is the first time that either Frey or Swain has earned the distinction. The duo was also named to the America East Academic Honor Roll In total, 173 student-athletes from 56 different institutions were honored. All of the student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically.
