CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Freshman Mallory Collins of the Boston University women's lacrosse team was named America East Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

This is the second straight week and fifth time this season that Collins has garnered Rookie of the Week accolades from the conference. The Terriers have earned eight total weekly honors this year.

Collins scored five goals and added one assist over two games last week. She notched a hat trick against No. 20 Boston College on Wednesday before adding two goals against No. 19 Stony Brook on Saturday. The Terriers trailed, 14-13, before Collins assisted on the tying goal and collected the game-winner. BU knocked off the Seawolves, 15-14, to claim a share of the America East regular-season title.

The Terriers will be back in action on Sunday (April 22) when they host Canisius in the final regular-season game at Nickerson Field. BU will honor its senior class before the game.
