BOSTON - The 12th-ranked Boston University lacrosse team (9-3, 3-0 AE) will seek to clinch a berth in the America East Championship when it faces off with Vermont (7-5, 2-1 AE) on Saturday (April 11) at 3 p.m. in Burlington, Vt. The Terriers are riding a seven-game winning streak, while the Catamounts have alternated wins and losses in their last four outings.

BU has a 14-3 all-time record against the Catamounts. The Terriers have not lost to Vermont since 1996, winning 12 straight games against the Catamounts.

Vermont has not played since an April 1 loss at Albany by a 13-7 margin. The Catamounts sit in third place in the America East standings, a game behind the Terriers.

Kristen Millar is Vermont's top scorer with 48 points (26g, 22a), while Allison Pfohl edges Millar with 27 goals for the team lead. Millar also leads the team with 49 ground balls, 67 draw controls and 41 caused turnovers.

Olivia Hatfield is the Catamounts' primary netminder with a 10.51 goals-against average and .493 save percentage.

Senior Sarah Dalton became the Terriers' all-time leading scorer in Wednesday's 13-6 win at Boston College. Dalton entered the week averaging 4.76 goals per game to lead the nation.

Junior Traci Landy matched her career highs with six points, including five goals, in Wednesday's win. Landy ranks second on the team with 32 goals this season, while classmate McKinley Curro is also among BU's scoring leaders with 41 points (29g, 12a).

With a win on Saturday, the Terriers will clinch a spot in the postseason, earning a berth in the America East Championship.
