CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior attack Danielle Etrasco was named America East Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Etrasco (Massapequa, N.Y.) notched six goals and added two assists for eight points in the Terriers’ two wins last week. She also controlled 13 draws and tallied two ground balls, as well as one caused turnover, over the two games.

The Massapequa, N.Y., native scored five goals in a 16-15 win over Vermont on Saturday, including four in the second half. She also controlled seven draws, including the final one of the game, to clinch the victory. Etrasco notched three points (1g, 2a) and controlled six draws in a win against Yale on Wednesday.

BU will be back in action on Saturday (March 31) when the Terriers travel to UMBC for the inaugural “Team Fight Socks It to Cancer” game to raise awareness for young adults with cancer. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m.
