Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

Set new career high with four assists en route to matching career high with nine points (5g, 4a) against Binghamton on April 28 ... Controlled seven draws against Vermont on March 24 ... AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Started in all 17 games of the season ... Named America East Co- Player of the Year ... Named to the America East All- Conference Team and earned IWLCA Northeast All- Region First Team honors ... Tied for first in the conference in game- winning goals (4), second in goals per game (3.31) and points per game (3.81), and fourth in draw controls per game (2.50) ... Single- handedly outscored Vermont on April 30th with nine goals, propelling the Terriers to the conference tournament and setting a 2011 NCAA Division I single- game high for most goals ... In addition to 57 goals, contributed 41 draw controls, 16 ground balls, nine caused turnovers, and eight assists.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Appeared in 19 games, starting nine for the Terriers ... Named to the America East All-Rookie Team ... Registered 18 goals and six assists ... Collected 24 draw controls, 12 ground balls and six caused turnovers ... Garnered America East Rookie of the Week recognition on March 1 after scoring four points (3g, 1a) in her collegiate debut against Massachusetts on Oct. 24.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY: Played at Massapequa High School in Massapequa, N.Y., where she was a US Lacrosse All-American her senior season after earning honorable mention All-America honors as a junior ... Also a three-time all-county and two-time All-Long Island selection ... Played for the New York 1 club team that competed at the national tournament as well as the Liberty Lacrosse club team.
