Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

Earned All-America honors, named an IWLCA All-American and to the Northeast All-Region First team... Was tabbed as the America East Player of the Year and selected to the all-conference first team... Started all 19 contests in which she participated, setting a new program record with 71 goals and totaling 84 points - the third-best single-season total in school history... Set the team pace with 49 draw controls and ranks third all-time at BU with 133... Finished the season ranked fifth nationally in goals per game (3.74) and 19th in points per game (4.42)... Tallied a goal in each of the games in which she played... Recorded a personal-high six goals on two occasions, against Boston College on March 26 and against New Hampshire in the first round of the NCAA tournament on May 11... Set a personal high with seven points twice (vs. BC on March 26, vs. UNH on May 11)... Assisted on three goals against UNH on April 27, the most she has collected in a single game... Notched eight goals in NCAA tournament play - six against UNH on May 11 and two at Penn on May 17.

Ranked fourth in league in points per conference game (3.83) ... Scored a career-high six goals at Stony Brook on April 7 and tallied five goals three times (at Loyola, vs. Dartmouth, vs. Stanford) ... Recorded five points (4g, 1a) on March 3 vs. Hofstra and scored four goals at Vermont on April 18 ... Scored three goals six times (vs. BC, vs. UMBC, vs. Harvard, vs. Binghamton, vs. UNH) ...
