BOSTON - Seniors Jenn Wakefield and Kasey Boucher of the Boston University women's hockey team were honored as New England Women's Division I All-Stars, the New England Hockey Writers Association announced on Tuesday.
The duo helped lead BU to its second Hockey East Championship in three seasons and its third straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Terriers finished the 2011-12 season with a 23-14-1 record, their second straight 20-win season. BU also won seven of its final eight games of the year and finished the season ranked fifth in the nation.
